Social
Impact

Today, over 640 artisans have benefited from this initiative since its beginning, with around 450 actively collaborating in production today. Through Setesïk, these women have gained steady income, creative skills, and a renewed sense of empowerment.

Setesïk’s story began with a visit to a small village, nearly two hours from Guatemala City, where our team met a group of remarkable women artisans. That encounter changed everything.

Guatemala is home to more than 15 million people, and nearly 60% belong to Indigenous communities living in rural areas with limited access to education, clean water, and job opportunities. Yet, these women work tirelessly to create better lives for their families and brighter futures for their children.

Setesïk was born to support them — turning pine leaves into beautiful, high-quality products that can be sold at fair prices.
